Privacy policy.
PlayerTrackr handles two very different sets of data, and our role isn't the same for each. Your account data we handle for ourselves. Player data we store on behalf of the coach or club who enters it. No health data, no sensitive data, nothing sold, nothing advertised.
1. Who is responsible for what
| Data | Controller | PlayerTrackr is |
|---|---|---|
| Account, email, IDs | PlayerTrackr | controller |
| Support form messages | PlayerTrackr | controller |
| Site analytics | PlayerTrackr | controller |
| Players: names, stats, minutes, progression | the coach or club entering it | processor |
Controller for the first group: Nicolas Chevalarias, sole trader, 5 rue Eugène Scribe, 33700 Mérignac, France — SIREN 849 362 264 — contact@playertrackr.app.
2. Data we handle for ourselves
| Data | Why | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Email, user ID, device ID | create and run your account | performance of the contract |
| Support form email, subject, message | answer your question | your consent |
We don't collect your name or payment details: with in-app purchases, Apple takes the payment and holds that information.
3. Player data — we act on the club's behalf
When a coach creates a team and logs their players' stats, they alone decide what gets recorded and why. The coach or club is the controller for that data; PlayerTrackr is the tool that stores it.
In practice we never use it for anything else: no analysis, no published aggregates, no product improvement, no sharing. We store it, we return it to the club, we delete it when they ask. Full terms in our data processing terms.
If you're a coach or club officer, two obligations are yours, not ours: tell players and their legal guardians that their stats are being recorded, by whom and why — most players in youth basketball are minors, so that means telling parents; and make sure you're allowed to record this data under your club's and your governing body's rules. We can't do either for you — we have no contact with the players.
4. Our processors
| Processor | Role |
|---|---|
| Supabase | hosts the app's data, authentication included |
| RevenueCat | app identifier and subscription status |
| OVH SAS (France) | hosts the website and support messages |
| MailerSend | delivers the support notification email |
Each is bound by a processing agreement and handles data only on our instructions. We don't sell data and don't pass it to commercial partners.
5. How long we keep things
| Data | Period |
|---|---|
| Account and IDs | while the account exists, deleted within 30 days of a deletion request |
| Support message | 12 months |
| Player data | the club decides, and can request deletion anytime |
6. Your rights
You can access, correct, delete, restrict, object to and port your data, and withdraw consent at any time.
- For your account data: contact@playertrackr.app.
- For a player's data, contact the coach or club that entered it — they're the controller. Write to us and we'll pass the request on and help, but we can't answer in their place.
EU residents may also complain to their national data protection authority; in France, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
7. Security
Authenticated access, encryption in transit, professional hosting providers. We hold no payment data, because we never receive any.
8. Changes
Any change is published here with a new date. Substantial changes are announced in the app.
